Every valuation process includes the calculation of the cost of capital of the company. The cost of capital calculator found in the Analystix Tools package can calculate both the cost of equity and the weighted average cost of capital (WACC). It includes all the components needed for the calculation- beta, size premium and debt margin calculators, and links to online data sources with various input parameters used in the calculation.

The beta calculator can calculate the beta by using stock and market returns, average industry beta or use a list of peer companies’ data. The debt margin calculator can use data of existing bond of the company, or by using credit rating data.
